A spooky surprise this Halloween for education workers in Ontario, especially the ones getting ready to strike this Friday. In this meeting we say “goodbye, farewell, and amen” to this term of council in the ceremonial final meeting. Before the new council takes over on November 15, the current council, especially the ones who won’t be returning, will say so long to the newly renovated council chambers and leave with their memories and, hopefully, a certain sense of job satisfaction.
