U of G Announces Vaccine Mandate for Everyone on Campus this Fall

Less than a month till move in day, and the start of the new school year, the University of Guelph announced to its community that whether you’re a student, faculty member or staff – both here in Guelph and at the Ridgetown campus – then you’re going to have be vaccinated if you’re coming to campus in September. Guelph and Area Reaches 75 Per Cent Fully Vaccinated Mark

Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health hit a major milestone in vaccine distribution on Thursday reaching 75 per cent of all eligible residents with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. Just a few weeks ahead of back to school, and perhaps just a matter of time before a full-blown fourth wave of the pandemic, three-quarters of people 12 and over in Guelph and area are now full vaccinated. City, Mayor Launch Charm Offensive to Attract Moderna Facility

Black and Longfield Tour West Willow Neighbourhood Food System

Food security has been one of the defining issues of the pandemic era, and Guelph has been at the centre of trying to find new and innovative solutions. Ground Broken for New Youth Mental Health Centre, Plus New Funding

Even before the pandemic, services for area youth, especially mental health services, have been sorely lacking. A giant leap forward was initiated on Thursday with the ground-breaking for the new Centre for Children’s Mental Health and Developmental Services Building. When it opens in less than two years, it will be a hub over 30 service providers and be a magnet for over 9,000 local children, youths and their families.
