Elizabeth May became the leader of the Green Party of Canada on August 26, 2006, and from that point she set herself the goal of taking the Greens from a fringe party to a national movement. Student leaders from a coalition that won a landmark legal challenge against the Provincial government over making certain student fees optional spoke from Queen’s Park on Friday morning.
