This month, the Grand River Conservation Authority membership got in on the growing number of budget activities, but that’s not where the controversy laid at this month’s board meeting. Having said that, the real controversy was in one area impacted by the budget, specifically changes to the outdoor education program. So there’s that, and also a discussion about the merits of hybrid meetings going forward. Here’s the recap… Continue reading “RECAP: GRCA Board Has Concerns About Outdoor Education Changes”
Committee of the Whole Preview – What’s on the Agenda for the November 6 Meeting?
November is budget month, so maybe it shouldn’t be that surprising that it’s going to be a little bit light in terms of the Committee of the Whole agenda. Naturally, there are also a lot of staff recognitions too! Continue reading “Committee of the Whole Preview – What’s on the Agenda for the November 6 Meeting?”

So what’s new this Monday? Continue reading “Remember Those Official Plan Changes? Calandra Says Never Mind”

Here’s the (lengthier than normal) recap… Continue reading “This Week at Council: Housing, Heritage and Hesitancy in Double Header”
