Local Poverty Advocates Concerned About Ontario Gov’s Move on Basic Income Pilot

Yesterday’s announcement that the Progressive Conservative government was reforming social assistance, while ending the Basic Guaranteed Income pilot started by the previous government, caught those combating poverty by surprise.
