In a little over a week, city council will be asked to make some pretty big decisions about the 2022 and 2023 Guelph Budget. On Tuesday night, the chief administrative officer, his three deputies, and the City’s treasurer got together on stage at the River Run Centre for a live virtual town hall to answer people’s question about this difficult and multifaceted budget. Guelph Public Library Reveals New Look for New Main Building

City of Guelph crews are currently set up at the Baker Street parking lot to look for bodies. The archeological preparation happening now is part of the ground work to redevelop Baker Street for a new residential project and the new main building for the Guelph Public Library. City Gets Federal Money to Standardize Energy Management

How do you know you’re being as efficient with energy as you possibly can? For most of us, when it comes to our own homes, if we’re paying $200 less on our hydro bill then it’s possible it’s because we’re more energy efficient. But that’s not very scientific, is it? The City of Guelph is getting some assistance on creating a rigorous measurement of the their energy saving efforts, and it comes with the assistance of the Federal government.
