Compared to the more rowdy mayoral debate the day before, Thursday’s gathering of the Ward 2 candidates was almost too nice. Eight of the nine people running for these two seats showed up at Royal City Mission to find a lot of agreement and to cheerfully exchange ideas about matters of affordability, planning and protecting equity seeking groups in the city, but there was occasionally some room for disagreement. This Week at Council: Funding the Mission and Service Improvements

It feels like we were only just getting started, but Guelph city council wrapped up for the year after taking care of a couple of key pieces of business.
