After months of speculation and concern about the fate of the new main branch of the Guelph Public Library, the City of Guelph has announced that they’ve updated the plan which will hopefully allow for a more cost-effective version of the project to proceed. Back in February, a big rake out concerning leash-free, fenced in dog parks in the city was called off when a Committee of the Whole motion to eliminate the amenity at Peter Misersky Park, and cancel all further projects, was found out of order.
