The last Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Board of Health meeting for the year will focus on a couple of different areas. You like vaping? Maybe you do, but if you’re a kid under 19 than no one should be selling any vaping products to you. Do you want to get sick this holiday season? If not, maybe this is a good time to be reminded that you should get a flu shot. Have a young person behind on their shots? We’ve got a reminder for that too. This Week at Council: Planning is Easy, Budget is Hard
Two meetings at council this week; one was easy and the other was somewhat harder. The added workshop meeting about finding options to reduce the budget was predictably difficult, but there’s still a few more days until a final decision has to be made. For now, here’s the recap of this week’s meetings… Continue reading “This Week at Council: Planning is Easy, Budget is Hard”

RECAP: Education Programs’ Fate Stymies GRCA Board Again
November’s Grand River Conservation Authority board meeting took a break from the immediate concern around next year’s budget. Sort of. For everything else on the agenda, you can check out the recap… Continue reading “RECAP: Education Programs’ Fate Stymies GRCA Board Again”
