In King City today, the Ontario Energy Minister announced the installation of fast EV chargers along the province’s busiest highways at Onroute locations. Wednesday’s news is the latest instance where the Government of Ontario has embraced the EV movement, and comes less a month after Premier Doug Ford announced in Guelph new support for building a home-grown EV supply chain. The Ontario Government Changes Autism Funding… Again

The Government of Ontario today announced changes to the funding of autism therapies. Again. KidsAbility Cuts Jobs Again in Wake of Autism Funding Changes

Changes to the province’s autism funding has claimed more jobs in our area, at least that’s according to the CEO of KidsAbility. Linda Kenny told staff this morning that come January 2020, between 20 and 25 staff members will be laid off in a new round of job losses following nine layoffs earlier this year.
