RECAP: Heritage Guelph Looks at Changes, and a Potential Non-Designation

It was a jam-packed Heritage Guelph agenda that took the committee right to the finish line in terms of timing. RECAP: The Accessibility Committee Lands on a Direction for 2026 Voting Methods

The last meeting of 2023 went to the Accessibility Advisory Committee, who had a lot business to take care before the holiday break. RECAP: One Quick Meeting for the Police Board to End 2023

It was a short meeting for the Guelph Police Services Board to end 2023. RECAP: Heritage Guelph Looks Ahead to 2024!

The last Heritage Guelph meeting of the year did something ironic… It looked to the future. It’s been a very busy 12 months for the local heritage committee, a lot of long simmering designations were scratched off the list, but there’s still a lot of work to do before this time next year when all the properties listed, but not designated, are deleted from the registry due to Bill 23. RECAP: Education Programs’ Fate Stymies GRCA Board Again

November’s Grand River Conservation Authority board meeting took a break from the immediate concern around next year’s budget. Sort of.
