The first planning meeting of the year was a big one, and size did matter. Council discussed the merits and demerits of a redevelopment that could see a 23-storey mixed-use residential building constructed at the corner of Wellington and Wyndham, but a decision on that will come later. This Month at Council Part 1: Trees, Signs, and More Transitional Housing

Guelph City Council tackled a very busy agenda before the summer break. The Committee of the Whole meeting was a marathon affair with topics about trees, the new sign bylaw, and speed limits. Committee of the Whole Preview – What’s on the Agenda for the March 1 Meeting?
