It’s not everyday that there’s the start of a new committee, or perhaps we should call this a committee reboot, because it’s taking something that already existed, but getting a new twist. This Week at Council: Transit Talk and a New Committee is Born

Council business wrapped up for the month of February with a meeting that covered a variety of topics, and included some special guests. A follow-up delegation about transit in St. George’s Square led to a robust conversation about the subject from a variety of points of view, and then council made some appointments, and talked about pretty big re-organization for a major committee that will have more direct City involvement now. City Council Preview – What’s on the Agenda for the February 27 Meeting?

Although we’ve technically not quite gotten to the end of the month, we’ve at least gotten to the agenda for the end of the month. At the regular council meeting on the last Tuesday in February, we will cover again all the business from Committee of the Whole and then get into new business, which involves an annual visit from someone special and some big changes to an importance shared services committee.
