We interrupt this summer vacation for a Heritage Guelph meeting. The time and day was reserved, though staff weren’t initially sure that there would be a need for this August meeting, but it seems like there’s one thing that they want to get done before September arrives. Committee of Adjustment doesn’t take summers off, so here we are with the August committee meeting coming up, and it is a very staked agenda indeed. Nearly 10 different items ranging from a land severance, new commercial spaces, and all kinds of adjusted setbacks will require a decision from the board, as undoubtedly a few of these projects are looking to get going before the end of summer. MEETING PREVIEW: Guelph Police Services Board for July 20, 2023

The Guelph Police Services Board is still meeting, for July anyway, and there are a couple of different pieces of business that they need to dispatched before summer vacation begins. MEETING PREVIEW: Guelph Public Library Board for June 19, 2023

This month’s meeting of the Guelph Public Library Board of Directors is the beneficiary of perfect timing. It had to be moved to accommodate the schedule of some members, and as fate would have it, the new meeting date is just over 12 hours before the groundbreaking on the Baker Street Redevelopment, which includes the new library building.
