“I see my role as a member of a board of directors for a large non-profit with an annual operating budget of over $500M. Trustees are expected to make decisions in the best interests of the Board, and not necessarily just for their local electors. The responsibilities are clearly outlined in the Education Act, both for individual trustees, as well as for boards as a whole. Individual trustees have no power or authority.
