A curious press release showed up this morning, an invitation to a press event where in Gord Miller, former Environmental Commissioner of Ontario, will be announcing “his plan to run in the upcoming federal election in the riding of Guelph.” Specifically? Well, if he’s going to be a major party candidate, he has one of two choices, and considering his career path, it should be fairly obvious what colour banner he’ll be waving come the fall. Schreiner is Staying in Guelph for 2018
It’s municipal election craziness time across Ontario so you might have missed the news, but at their recent annual general meeting, the Green Party of Ontario agreed by a margin of 96 per cent to keep Mike Schreiner as their leader. GUELPH POLITICAST – #8 – Mike Schreiner, Green Party of Ontario
So season three of the Guelph Politicast will cover the Guelph candidates running to the Royal City’s Member of Provincial Parliament. Obviously, the scheduling of the podcast will depend on the availability of the candidates, which is why it was something of a surprise when the first campaign to set a time and day for a sit down was the one being fronted by a provincial party leader.
