The last meeting of 2023 went to the Accessibility Advisory Committee, who had a lot business to take care before the holiday break. MEETING PREVIEW: Accessibility Advisory Committee for December 19, 2023

There’s one more meeting before the holiday break, and it belongs to the Accessibility Advisory Committee. It’s been a busy year for the AAC, and  much of this meeting will cover business that’s been covered at other points this year including the very contentious topic of voting options for the 2026 Municipal Election. RECAP: Library Board Lays Out Its Fundraising Plans

In this final Guelph Public Library Board of Directors meeting of the year [shocked emoji face], we learned a lot about the planned fundraising efforts for the new main library and that project so far is looking pretty good! MEETING PREVIEW: Guelph Public Library Board for November 27, 2023

The last Guelph Public Library Board of Directors meeting of the year will look to the future, short and long-term. As 2023 comes to an end, the year that ground was finally broken on the new main library, the board will look at how they’re going to help fundraise for it. That’s the long-term, but the short-term talk will focus on setting the table for 2024 and what the staff and board hope to focus on in the new year. RECAP: Transit Committee Learns About Budget Impact and 2024

The last Transit Advisory Committee meeting of the year had a lot of ground to cover, especially with the 2024-2027 multiyear budget in progress. RECAP: Heritage Guelph Cranks Out Several Designation, and Are Looking for More

MEETING PREVIEW: Transit Advisory Committee Meeting for November 16, 2023

November’s Transit Advisory Committee meeting will look to the future. November’s meeting of Heritage Guelph will see a lot of movement on the preservation of location heritage, which is good because we’re now almost one year into the two year project to save listed properties thanks to Bill 23.
