City Council Preview – What’s on the Agenda for the February 13 Meeting?
Planning matters return on schedule for the second Tuesday of February, and there’s going to be some unusual business for this planning meeting just to keep things interesting. Council will be asked to make some decisions regarding some recent applications, they will be asked to made a decision about a new Official Plan Amendment, and then they will make a decision to keep to a previous decision. This Week at Council: Planning is Easy, Budget is Hard
Two meetings at council this week; one was easy and the other was somewhat harder. The easy one was the planning meetings, some straightforward applications and designations, but the hard one had to do with the budget. The added workshop meeting about finding options to reduce the budget was predictably difficult, but there’s still a few more days until a final decision has to be made. City Council Preview – What’s on the Agenda for the November 21 Meeting?
In the midst of all this budget madness, we don’t want to forget about the usual business of city council like the monthly planning meeting.
