The site of flags, signs and marchers through downtown is hardly an unfamiliar site for Guelph, and it will be seen again this coming Wednesday as a group of people will gather at City Hall and undertake a long march to College Avenue in the name of “Uniting diverse backgrounds and faiths” to eliminate “Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) curriculum, pronouns, gender ideology and mixed bathrooms in schools.” But what does that mean? Tech Issues Plague Guelph This Weekend

Sometimes the technology just decides to stop working. We’ve all encountered tech issues in our lives, and most of the time they’re easy to solve. There are occasions though where tech problems are not so easy to solve, and they all seem to happen at the same time. Library Friends Finally Get to Give Big Cheque to Library

It took 16 years to get here. On Monday, a little over a week in advance of the 15th annual Big Book Sale, the Friends of the Guelph Public Library issued a large novelty cheque to Guelph Public Library staff members. While the massive cheque wasn’t legal tender, the amount was real. After 14 book sales, $1 million has been donated to the cause of building a new main library.
