A friendly reminder from the City of Guelph and Guelph Politico.
Overnight on-street parking restrictions begin starting Saturday night across the city until next spring, with a ban on city streets unless with special permission or anywhere in the downtown core between 2 and 6 a.m., with ticket charges at $35.
1 Carden Street said in a statement that the annual restrictions are to allow snow plows to clear streets of snow, give access for emergency response vehicles on narrow streets and ensure that traffic can safely pass on narrow streets.
The limitations will be in place from December 1 until March 31, 2019, however, those interested in applying for a parking exemption can fill out a form that is valid for a maximum of two vehicles for two nights.
