RECAP: Childcare and Protecting Paramedics on the Agenda at JSSLAC

This month’s meeting of the Joint Social Services and Land Ambulance Committee was a bit laid back. There was an update about the budget, but the meat of the meeting – so to speak – were two matters, one is a request for more protections in the Criminal Code to protect first responder, and second it was an update about making sure there’s a childcare space for everyone who needs it.
