Editor’s Note: It was a 4-9 vote against the original recommendation about the mayor’s compensation for next term with Councillors Busuttil, Hauser, Downer and Gibson voting in favour. Then it was a 5-8 vote against the recommendations for council compensation with Councillors Downer, Caton Allt, Gibson and Mayor Guthrie voting in favour.
