We get a change of venue at this month’s Transit Advisory Committee meeting. Coming to you live from the newly renovating meeting room at Transit’s head office on Watson Road, the committee will get the usual updates about operations, the EV roll out, and rider feedback, plus there will be an update about that new chime that will herald special announcements on buses.
NOTE #1: This meeting takes place at 5:30 pm in the meeting room at the Guelph Transit main office at 170 Watson Road South.
NOTE #2: For alternate meeting formats please contact judi.prigione [at] guelph.ca or call 519-822-1260 ext. 3863.
Update: Preset Audio Message Chime Introduction – Staff last brought the new special announcement chime to the committee for discussion back in April, but before TAC gets an update the Accessibility Advisory Committee will get another crack at the bat at their own June meeting. There’s no report in this agenda, but the report to the AAC notes that staff have created two new options; one is four tone sounds with a range of tones, and the other is five tone sounds with a range of tones.
TAC Members’ Feedback – This the monthly opportunity for members of the committee to ask questions about current service issues. There’s nothing on the agenda yet.
General Transit Update, including Electric Buses – Management staff will be on-hand to offer updates on any pressing transit business that’s not been covered in any of the above topics and categories, and that includes the ongoing roll out of the new electric buses.
