RECAP: Board of Health Hears About Increased Community Need for Healthy Food

The Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Board of Health began 2023 with some shocking if unsurprising insights into the current state of food insecurity in the region. How much it costs to feed a family nutritiously was the main point of the January meeting, but there was also the election of the new board executive (Congrats to vice-chair Councillor Goller!) and an update from the Medical Officer of Health.
