This month transit is coming around again for March’s meeting of the Transit Advisory Committee. And what advice will be sought from the committee this month? There will be the usual items about electrification, general transit news, and insights from the board and other users, plus there will be an item about chimes and messages that is still mysterious, but at least it’s something different. Let’s check out the agenda…
NOTE #1: This meeting takes place at 5:30 pm in Committee Meeting Room A at City Hall and you can also watch it online via a link provided in the meeting agenda.
NOTE #2: For alternate meeting formats please contact judi.prigione [at] guelph.ca or call 519-822-1260 ext. 3863.
Preset Audio Message Chime Introduction– There’s no report for this item, so it’s uncertain what exactly this is going to address, but it could be a message and chime for the transit buses as you board, or some message that’s shared at Guelph Central Station. We’ll find out! Laura Catalano-Bragues, Supervisor for Scheduling and Service Planning, will speak to this item.
TAC Members’ Feedback – This the monthly opportunity for members of the committee to ask questions about current service issues. There’s nothing on the agenda yet.
General Transit Update, including Electric Buses – Management staff will be on-hand to offer updates on any pressing transit business that’s not been covered in any of the above topics and categories, and that includes the ongoing roll out of the new electric buses.
